Initial Booster Information Page

Emails start something like, “We’d like to have you take our Team Photos, can you send me some information?” Simple enough but the truth is almost all of these jobs will have add-on projects. You’re likely here for info on Photo Day, Banners, or a Media Day. I’ll cover those first. Please email with any questions.

Photo Day.  The session fee for Photo Day is $100 for Varsity, and $50 for each subsequent team. This covers light face clean up on all orders, large 16x20 prints for coaches, green screen extractions, compositing, team yearbook file, makeups in studio if needed, and delivery of final packaged prints.

I’ll send you a custom order form that you’ll forward to your parents and they return it on Photo Day filled out with payment. We can shoot in my studio and I will composite the photos or we can shoot at your location. I’ll arrive a little early and find a place to take the individual shots and a spot for the group photo. At the end of the session I offer Pre-Paid Buddy Photos. I have discounted the prices on Buddy Photos but they must be pre-paid. A few weeks later I’ll deliver a big box of enveloped photos for you to distribute.

What sets me apart from most photographers is that I also shoot game action. In the past 10 years I’ve done over 600 photo collages for local high school athletes. I’ve always included items with action photos in my Photo Day offerings (trading cards for example) but now it is impossible for me to go to games for every team I work with. If you’d like your team to have action photos incorporated, I charge $150 per team. That also gets 25 polished photos from the event emailed to the Boosters. You can use them on social media, submit to yearbook, banquet slideshow. You can choose to offer it to all of your teams, just Varsity, or not at all.

Banners. Typically I shoot banners weeknights at my Anaheim studio or we can do it during your Photo Day. A single image banner at 27x42 inches is $80. That includes the session, skin clean up, extractions, creating the banner, the banner, and two 12x18 printed hard copies. If you want to add a second or third image (samples below) add $20. Custom sizes, pole pockets, two-sided, and thickness are all options.

Media Day. Photo Day is not a Media Day. Media Day is kids and groups hamming it up as if for an advertising campaign. Usually some solo poses and a bunch of small group poses. Typically only Varsity participates in a Media Day. We can do these on the field/court, or do it all green screen. Depending on the size of the roster I usually polish three individual poses and all the group files. If it’s green screen I will have the images clipped out and provide PNG files. After we discuss your needs I can give you a quote.

Here’s a couple samples: Canyon Baseball, Valencia Womens Soccer, Valencia Mens Soccer.

To help you brainstorm here is a list of additional photo projects I’ve done before.
