2026 Canyon Track Senior Night

My second year shooting the Senior Ceremony for Canyon Track & Field and it almost didn’t happen! We had to shuffle things around because meets were cancelled or rescheduled because of a heatwave. I was already booked this day for the Yorba Linda Softball Senior Ceremony. I was told they’d stall for me and start when I got there. When I arrived I saw the huge line of parents and kid, one noticed my wagon of gear and said “Oh! We’ve been waiting for you!” Turns out they didn’t run the last races because it wouldn’t affect the outcome and everyone agreed to finish early. Sheesh! I whipped out the lights and set up as fast as I ever have. No pressure! But the kids were cool and Coach Brierly said some nice words about me in the microphone to genuine cheers.
