2025 El Dorado Soccer LUCAS

Shooting Lucas is great, 2023! I knew from his freshman season 2022 he was special. He didn’t get much time on the field playing as a varsity junior last season and unfortunately that’s kind of how it goes when the team has a dozen seniors and nearly 30 on the roster. We rolled over his collage package to this, his senior season. He was getting in and playing a bit in his usual left back position, but something special happened at Yorba Linda. He was subbed in at forward and in an incredible sequence found himself at the 40 yard line, at full speed he headed the ball away from two defenders, controlled it, and unloaded a left footed blast that beat the goalie clean. The bench went nuts and mobbed Lucas in the corner. The rest of the season Lucas was used as kind of a secret weapon, coming in full of energy and relentless pursuit of the ball is fun to watch.
