2024 El Dorado Flag Football KARINA

Right off the bat Karina was fun to shoot. I first saw her playing JV Lacrosse in her freshman year, Flashback below. She was quick and not afraid to run into (or through) a pile of girls. One day I’ll finally post that gallery, ha. Fast forward to fall 2023 when Flag Football was introduced as a sport at El Dorado. Many girls from many sports came out for the inaugural season. Some skills crossed over, softballers throwing at quarterback, basketball players jumping as receivers. Karina’s aggressive banzai style made her a natural for middle linebacker. Unafraid to reach in and grab flags, it might not be tackle but there’s a lot of collisions happening out there. She of course caught a bunch of touchdowns too, but she was a defensive leader.
