2025 El Dorado Swim Photo Day

I wasn’t surprised to get the call for this one, but I wasn’t expecting it. I did Water Polo for both the Boys and Girls earlier in the year, but I didn’t even know if Eldo Swim took T&I Photos. I’ve shot Servite and Canyon’s swim teams many times, it’s a serious event at those schools. My gut was El Dorado Swim was more for water polo kids to keep up the conditioning, kind of like soccer kids running track. After I shot the team, I’m still not sure! The boys posed first and all but two boys posed. When it was time for the girls only 5 girls posed. I went over to the group and told them even if you don’t plan to buy photos, yearbook could call me for photos or a coach may give you an award or want to post a social media or slideshow image, just gimme a quick smile. Still no additional girls came over. It was odd. It also leaves mo zero chance to make money later if I don’t shoot the athletes. As it turns out someone did need a photo of each senior and I had to create two of them by removing water polo logos and placing the kids on the matching background. Stuff I wouldn’t have needed to do and other photographers definitely charge for. I include the two Swim Banners we shot earlier this year when we did all the Aquatics kids at once, I love that these were up all year, really enhanced the pool deck.
