2025 El Dorado Cross Country Photo Day

This one is always a challenge because we want to have it look organic, cross country does not run on a track! Since I’ve shot this a few times I also want to vary it from year to year. These are way different than my first session in 2019! This time I shot the individual photos along the fence, behind the bleachers. It’s always windy during this shoot so we start with the boys and have the girls in a standby line and they pop up when the wind subsides. For the first time ever, I used the same background on many photos. I clipped the athlete, pasted in the background and resized it for each. It also helped with the flyaway hairs as the loose hairs don’t get selected! We had the seniors in the studio a week before for banners (which I loooove)… and I did a team banner again.
